Philanthropy Northwest hosted the Washington State Opportunity Zones Conference this past week on Thursday, November 15th, 2018. The conference focused on the impact the new incentive has on not only investors and government entities, but also on the influence the program will place on rural, urban, and Tribal communities in the state.
Sixty West Funds principal Jason Cordon spoke at the conference. Mr. Cordon’s panel included financial advisors, fund managers, and fellow opportunity zone experts.
“We believe the chance to work together and partner on these Opportunity Zone developments with the people who truly benefit from them, and who live in these communities is vital.” – Jason Cordon
The event was held at the Bell Harbor Conference Center in Seattle, Washington and sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank or San Francisco, the Washington State Department of Commerce, and the National Development Council.
