Sixty West Funds and Rosemarie Leong of Intuition Due Diligence are set to host an Opportunity Zone Due Diligence Webinar on June 20, 2019.
This is the second Webinar in a series of informational presentations provided by Sixty West Funds Principal Jason Cordon and COO Amy Kelly. The Sixty West Funds June Webinar series aims to advise the Opportunity Zone space on topics ranging from deal specific information to fund management and regulations. The upcoming June 20 Webinar will focus on Due Diligence review given the upcoming June 28th deadline.
Under the Investing in Opportunity Act, which was part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, individuals with unrealized capital gains have 180 days to invest in an Opportunity Zone Fund. If individuals have realized capital gains in a flow-thru entity and report such gains on a K-1, they have 180 days from December 31st to consider such an investment. Hence, June 28th is that day.
The June 20 Webinar is aimed at facilitating the Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Advisor proprietary internal due diligence processes. Topics for the June 20 Webinar include:
