Carmo Companies hosted The Latin America Southeast US Real Estate Meeting this week, Wednesday December 5th, at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. The all-day conference aimed to connect “Real Estate Investment Vehicles to Global Capital Sources.”
Sixty West Funds Managing Director Tim Snodgrass spoke at the event. Mr. Snodgrass is also the President of Axxcess Capital, a founding member and current chairman of the Legislative and Regulatory Committee of Real Estate Securities Association (REISA), and Previous Director of National Accounts for Investment Property Exchange Service, INC.
Mr. Snodgrass spoke during the Capitalizing on Opportunity Zones panel, which focused on highlighting Tax Reform 1.0 and the creation and impacts of such strongly incentivized investment potential. Other topics discussed included regional impact of the Opportunity Zone Program, Bilateral Capital Flows, and perspectives from Mexico, Brazil, and Central America.
